50statesauto.com Project details Simple, but yet attractive used auto classifieds website for the 50 states of American. This project is will be built for both private sellers and dealers. 50statesauto.com is a forum right now, but it will become a used auto classifieds website to help people sell their cars easy and fast. For now, I want the website to be free for users to place unlimited number of used car ads. Users searching for cars must have an option on the homepage for a quick search, “make – model – zipcode – distance to search ’10 miles, 20 miles, 50 miles, 100 miles, 200 miles, 500 miles and any distance”. Users also must have an option for advanced search, everything from make, model, year range, mileage range, vehicle options and other things. Users must be able to sign up as “private seller and dealer”. Private sellers must have basic options while dealers must display a company information, logo, website link, etc… Users must be able to save ads if they are interested in their account and send the link to their friends if they choose to do so. Both private users and dealers must be able to manage their inventory, delete ads, edit ads, add images, change account info – email, address, phone, etc… Every ad must have an option to search by year- “high to low, low to high” same with price, distance and mileage. I want this website to operate and have options like these following websites. Please take a look at them and see for yourself. www.autotrader.com www.cars.com www.automotive.com www.usedcars.com www.carsdirect.com This is a long term deal, if chosen to work on this project, all future work will be done by the original design team. Website must look good, creative, attractive, full of features, easy to use, have a admin section where I can control advertising, auto ad approvals, banning users, blocking ip addresses. Website must also have a anti-spam feature. Web builder must also know SEO and build the website so web pages, auto ads get indexed by search engines quick and have good results with the search engines. I will work closely with the web developer and helping him/them as much as I can and do anything I can to make this project to be completed faster and better results. Project must be completed by mid January 2010. Payment via pay.pal once the project is complete and im satisfied. All vehicles were entered in a simple form, similar to OVE.com, saved, and automatically loaded to the web page for display until marked as sold. The database also provided bookeeping and accounting funtions, vehicle expense logs, links for CAR FAX reports and such. The lot did go out of business due to the economy.
